The requirement I am going to take here is to verify the functionality of the Facebook login page. So before going to create a test case template, I am going to open an excel sheet to create the test case template. I am naming the sheet "F test cases". Before adding the fields in the test case template, let's see what fields are necessary in the test case template. While writing test cases, we need to write test cases for a particular module on a particular project. So we need project name and module name. We also need to know who is going to create the test cases and who reviewed the test case. We need to add fields for "created by" and "reviewed by" along with the "reviewed date". Next, we need to add the field for "test scenario". In our case, the test scenario is to verify the login functionality of the Facebook login page. So we need to take a test scenario ID and test scenario description. For each test scenario, we write test cases. So I am going to take a test case ID and test case description. For every test scenario, there will be preconditions and postconditions. In our case, for the login functionality, the precondition is to have a valid URL and the post condition is that after login, it will show either a post page or a favorites page.
